Privacy Policy for Forgebound

Privacy Policy for Forgebound

Effective date: September 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hosthob (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the mobile game Forgebound (the “Game”).

1. Information we handle

Forgebound does not require you to create an account and we do not directly ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment-card details.

The Game uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, Google may automatically collect and share:

  • your device’s IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
  • device and account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID and app set ID, where available;
  • information about interactions with the Game and advertisements, such as app launches, taps, ad impressions and video views; and
  • diagnostic and performance information, such as launch time, crashes, hangs and energy usage.

The exact information processed may depend on your device, region, privacy choices, consent status and Google’s configuration.

2. Why information is used

Information processed through AdMob may be used to:

  • provide, measure and improve advertisements;
  • show personalized or non-personalized ads, depending on your consent and settings;
  • measure Game and advertising interactions;
  • maintain performance and diagnose technical issues; and
  • detect fraud, abuse and security incidents.

3. Advertising and Google AdMob

Advertising in Forgebound is provided by Google AdMob, operated by Google LLC and its affiliates. Google processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. You can learn more at Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information for advertising.

Where required by law, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you may be shown a consent message before personalized advertising data is processed. Your available choices may include consenting, refusing, or managing advertising preferences. Non-personalized ads may still use limited information for purposes such as frequency capping, aggregated reporting, fraud prevention and contextual advertising.

4. Local game data

Game progress and settings may be stored locally on your device. This local information is used to save your progress and preferences. We do not receive that locally stored data unless a future feature clearly tells you otherwise. You can generally remove local game data by clearing the Game’s storage or uninstalling the Game.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. Information described above may be shared with Google through the AdMob SDK so Google can provide advertising, measurement, analytics, fraud-prevention and security services. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights, or the security of the Game.

6. Data retention and deletion

We do not maintain user accounts or a separate server-side database of player profiles for the current version of Forgebound. Local game data remains on your device until it is cleared or the Game is uninstalled. Data processed by Google is retained according to Google’s own policies and applicable settings.

You can reset or delete your Android advertising ID through your device’s privacy settings. You may also contact us using the address below with a privacy or deletion request. If we do not possess data that identifies you, we will explain that we cannot locate or delete data held independently by a third-party provider.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled through the Game. Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Children’s privacy

Forgebound is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the Game, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Advertising shown to users identified as children will be handled according to applicable law, Google Play policies and Google’s child-directed treatment requirements.

9. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can manage advertising choices through any consent interface presented in the Game and through your Android device’s advertising and privacy settings. You may also contact us to exercise applicable rights.

10. International processing

Google and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, such transfers are handled using legally recognized safeguards. Please review Google’s Privacy Policy for further information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, its SDKs, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. If we later add Firebase or another service that changes our data practices, this policy will be updated before or when that change becomes effective.
